Issue 73 comes with the figure-flattering M7085 dress pattern which includes six different garment options – that’s partywear options covered!

The winter months also call for cosy nights in and for that, we have the snuggly Threadcount pyjama set with a full-length trouser option or shorts.

Tape measures are one of the most useful tools in a sewist’s armoury so we’re giving every reader a 60” tape to help keep those measurements precise every time.

The issue also includes three must-make dressmaking projects including a pleated skirt, an easy-to-wear, pull on dress and a floaty blouse.

Spruce up your home with a pretty Christmas cushion and festive table runner. We also have some fabulous gift ideas including a baby rattle project, adorable winter dog coat and a travel case.

Ever wondered how Sewing Bees began? We delve into the rich history of this long-standing, social activity. We also hang out with social media, quilting superstar, Mister Domestic and share all the details about how you can get involved in Simplicity’s brand-new hack-along!

Don’t forget to enter our amazing giveaways and enjoy our fabric and pattern discounts for independent and big-name brands!

Every issue includes tutorials and advice from our industry experts – Wendy Gardiner, Alison Smith MBE, Elisalex de Castro Peake and Claire-Louise Hardie

  • I usually wait until the magazines are at a reduced price but with this edition I purchased it straight away ! A great edition with a more practical and versatile dress, the top is very fashionable, and the PJ’s pattern is just what I wanted !! and I like threadcount patterns (can you purchase them on their own?) Thankyou so much !
