Find out more about your fabulous free gift in Issue 35 of Love Sewing (and don’t forget you also get a free wrap dress pattern from Simple Sew this month too!)
With four garments in one pack, this wardrobe builder provides everything you need to make a whole season of outfits. Butterick patterns come with helpful step-by-step guides, designed to push your sewing skills further.
The chic lined jacket is reminiscent of the classic Chanel cardigan style with patch pockets and button down front. Use a stylish wool and silky lining for an elegant finish. We used Pink, white and silver tweed from www.lintondirect.co.uk
The straight-legged cropped trousers have a trouser clasp waist fastening and the easiest fly zipper you’ll ever sew. There are top-stitched hems but we think this is the perfect project to practise your blind hemming skills. We used camel polyester, viscose and lycra blend from www.minervacrafts.com
The panelled dress has a clever design that features front and back yokes. The use of colour blocking down the sides is very flattering and we love that the dress is fully lined. We used stretch cotton twill in cream and black, and plain black drill both from www.minervacrafts.com
The A-line skirt has simple darts and a centre back zip, making it easy to fit and wear. A bright hue and a modern curved hem make this a knock-out staple. We used cerise gaberchino fabric from www.minervacrafts.com
We would love to see how you get on with this pattern. Share pics with us on Instagram or on our Facebook wall. If we publish your pics in the magazine you could win a £25 fabric bundle!
