This elegant and loose-fitting top with a tie neck and gathered sleeves is easy to make and great for work or evening wear.
Please note the following amendments to the pattern:
Use a 1cm seam allowance unless otherwise stated
Use medium-weight fabric with drape. For day wear: linen, cotton lawn, chambray or viscose.
For evening wear: Crêpe de chine, satin, peachskin
Before sewing the shoulder seams of the front and back bodices, join the two back pieces with a 1cm seam allowance.
Make 1.5m 25mm-wide strip of bias binding from smaller strips of main fabric for the neck edging and ties (make your own bias binding using a 25mm bias tape maker)
