This elegant and loose-fitting top with a tie neck and gathered sleeves is easy to make and great for work or evening wear.

Please note the following amendments to the pattern: 

NOTES:

Use a 1cm seam allowance unless otherwise stated

Use medium-weight fabric with drape. For day wear: linen, cotton lawn, chambray or viscose.

For evening wear: Crêpe de chine, satin, peachskin

Before sewing the shoulder seams of the front and back bodices, join the two back pieces with a 1cm seam allowance.

Make 1.5m 25mm-wide strip of bias binding from smaller strips of main fabric for the neck edging and ties (make your own bias binding using a 25mm bias tape maker)
